The Perfect Royal Icing

This is THE BEST royal icing recipe for decorating sugar cookies during the holiday season. I love how versatile it is and sugar easy to make. Whip it up in less than five minutes to decorate almost too pretty to eat sugar cookies.

I used this recipe for both my rangoli inspired sugar cookies and recent thanksgiving sugar cookies and it worked perfectly.

For the most part, there are three ways to use royal icing, for bordering, dipping, and flooding. The key to royal icing is consistency, and getting it just right will insure beautiful results.
